Pros: Clean and comfortable. More like a motel than a hotel.
Cons: A little expensive for a motel but probably paying for location.

Pros: Loved the style of this retro hotel
Cons: Everything was great!! The elevator was a little sketchy though. My husband can't use stairs so every time we used it we said a little prayer. The restaurant downstairs was awful! Great service but terrible food.

Pros: Loved this place! Particularly the spacious, cleverly designed rooms which included table and chairs, kitchenette with microwave and fridge, obligatory large screen TV, walk in shower all in retro style and colour. The little swimming pool and relaxing poolside area is kitted out with a variety of different chairs and loungers including ceiling hung "floating" seats and a clever deck chair that shades your face. Small Lobby area smart and stylish. It's in the Fairfax Jewish area (useful for synagogue and Jewish facilities) which is undergoing a rejuvenation so smart galleries amidst thrift shops, CBS studios and a few blocks away from a smart shopping Mall, the Beverly Centre.
Cons: Parking is expensive but we found a 24 hour off street parking lot round the corner on Fairfax Ave) for $7 a day (instead of the $30 or so offered by hotel).
