Cons: I do feel that there were a high level of vagrants hanging round the entrance of the hotel and trying to target people getting in and out of taxis they ordered to the hotel, security of the hotel should try and move them on.

Pros: The bed was so wonderful I looked at the mattress to find out the name. Finally asked at the front desk. Went to the website to check it out. Great bed. I loved the location because it was on the way to the Coliseum. My husband was able to find it easily on his drive from Bakersfield to pick me up from my trip back from Key West and take us both to a USC Trojan game at 11:00 am. It was wonderful.

Pros: Close to Little Tokyo and Dodgers Stadium via a convenient free shuttle from Union Station. We enjoyed Little Tokyo very much.
Rooms were immaculately clean, generous linen, pillows etc. The staff looking after the rooms are very thorough.
We had a couple of problems on our first day and to be fair the manager fixed everything very quickly and was very professional as were most of the staff. They obviously care about running a nice hotel and are let down by corporate policy and Los Angeles' homeless problem.
Cons: We received some questionable advice to go walking in this neighbourhood in the evening on our first day which soured us a lot on this hotel - there is a serious homeless problem in this area which made walking in the evening inadvisable.
I also just hate the Hilton wide wifi setup, in our first room the wifi simply didn't work because it was too far from the routers - we were kindly upgraded to a room closer to a router which was great but the login system is just a pain, seriously, get rid of it. I would not stay in a Hilton again until they fix this up.
Each hotel we stayed in (including another Hilton property) gave us free bottled water in our room except this one, which offered water for $6 a bottle. Must be some fancy water.
Breakfast is not included as standard so do your sums on your rate to make sure you're happy with it.

Pros: Great facility and location to visit nearby sightseeing spots, e.g. Hollywood, Sunset BLVD, Universal Studio, Santa Monica etc.
We also offered with free parking for three days and breakfast!
Cons: The doormen were not that friendly after we declined valet parking. They would not want to tell us directions to go to a Japanese Restaurant next street!

Pros: Location is in a busy area down town, though you have only the possibility to park in the hotel as other public parkings around charge much per hour, reception entry was big and many seating lots
Cons: The rooms are too small considering I booked room with 2 queen beds, bathroom is also small and the whole room and furniture is very old need an urgent renovation, the worst experience is the justice resturant where the breakfast is served, too lazy waiters and I think too old for this job, people queuing and queuing while many tables are empty but need cleaning and no one cares !! The breakfast itself is very bad in quality and selection comparing to its price, bakeries are all not fresh and perhaps at least one day old, if you have nothing to do in center LA don't book this property
