Pros: The location of the hotel is good if you are in downtown LA for business. The lobby is an impressive architectural gem.
Cons: The hotel rooms have old furniture and are shabby. The gym is in laughably poor condition - none of the treadmills worked properly and were even a bit dangerous. The steam room was out of order for the entire two weeks that I was staying at the hotel.

Pros: Great character and location.
Cons: The room smelled like cat food. Disgusting odor permeated entire "in-room" experience.

Pros: Aside from the beautiful architecture & stunning lobby areas, what I liked best was how friendly & helpful the staff were...especially the front desk check-in & maid service.
Cons: I would have preferred a larger bathroom with more counter space. But other than that the room was wonderful.
