Not a good experience.
Pros: Nice homey, rustic atmosphere. Nice gardens around the house and original furnishings.
Cons: Hostess/owner was snippy and rude with my wife. The strict rules about early check- in time caused a huge inconvenience. A bit overpriced too.
Pros: We loved the afternoon tea and hearing about the history of the proprietors and the property.
The 4 course breakfast was great.
Cons: Wouldn't want anything different.
Our first experience at a B&B was one we won't soon forget.
It was a delightful place...
Pros: The hosts put us at ease as soon as we arrived. Room was comfortable and the heated towel rack was a plus. Breakfast had fresh fruit and the main courses and tea, coffee were unusually good and reflected the backgrounds of the proprietors. Recommendations for dinner places were made and they even made reservations for us.
