Pros: I asked if the room had a deck and/or ocean view. They immediately wrote back saying 'no' and suggested the Comfort Inn to meet my needs. Really appreciated the honesty and their desire to meet MY needs. Since I had read great reviews about this hotel and the comfort and value it offered, we opted to keep this reservation - and we had the PERFECT getaway! Really recommend this place for a comfortable "home away from home"!!
Cons: The hotel was perfect and met all our needs - wish the fog would have lifted and let the sun show the truest beauty of our Central coast with some sparkling sunshine on it! Again, nothing against the hotel!

Cons: For that price ($192) I was shocked what I saw, that was not a hotel but more like an old 1960's mom and pop motel 6. It was clean, but...... NOT WORTH THE MONEY True value should be $50. I have spent less on 4 star hotels in San Francisco. The pictures withe the view are deceptive. There is no view. You are 3 blocks above the waterfront. Starting with the bed... The bed was "vintage" with the magic fingers massage from the 1960's or 1970s (that should have been my first clue) and it was very uncomfortable. I hope the mattresses are not the same vintage as the rest of the hotel. The pillows were very hard and flat. The bathroom was clean , but..... everywhere the plastic flowers were covered with dust that would normally take 7 months to a year to accumulate . The worst part was the bad smell ( Somebody sprayed perfume all over, but I'm not sure if that was to cover some other smells). I told the lady that that room smells and she said some guest sprayed some perfume in that room. Then she said "I'm sorry." There was no offer of a discount or other compensation. The street noise and cars were annoying as well. The wifi was about at dial up speed taking 20-30 seconds to load a page... Forget YouTube video. I could not sleep because of that smell and that hard uncomfortable bed and I ended up with a bad headache and angry I spent almost $200 on the place. We didn't even get a low quality continental breakfast. The motel is not worth the money, the whole area is a money trap.

Pros: Small, but very cozy B&Bish like room. CLEAN..ample hot water & fluffy towels..LOVED the ceiling an décor w/ modern fixtures and has ac if needed..walking distance to Embarcadero.. For under a hundered dollars it was a very good deal! Staff was helpful and pleasant. WILL stay again :)

Pros: Room was very clean. There was a microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator in the room. The woman in the office was very friendly. The location was close to downtown shops and the embarcadero. Not a luxury hotel but if your looking for a room at a reasonable price that provides a clean, quiet, comfortable place to stay you will be pleased with this hotel.
Cons: There is no counter space, just pedestal sink in the bathroom but there is vanity in the room with a mirror and chair.
