Pros: This is an excellent place offering not rooms but studios to two bedroom suites with living rooms and kitchens. We had a two bedroom suite, one of which was a loft, the other a bedroom with doors to close it off from the living room. It you're a group or family intending to visit Palo Alto/Stanford, and you get the rooms discounted, it is an excellent deal, and we liked the location although it is nearly 4 miles down El Camino (Real) from the Stanford campus and Palo Alto, but takes you out of the immediate traffic and clutter surrounding those places, while the drive to them is only 10-15 minutes. There is a useable pool, a very generous buffet breakfast, and the kitchens are fully equipped. The staff is friendly and helpful and resistant to taking tips, though we insisted as we had them help us with a lot of luggage-- we were helping a young couple set up an apartment at Stanford. We would stay here again.
Cons: These are minor complaints: the breakfast room is functional, not attractive; it can sometimes be missing necessities (like knives one morning): the cleaning crew managed to forget redoing one bed one morning; the front units face El Camino, which is busy during the day-- it does quiet down at night.

Pros: The staff were great!
Cons: Facility was dated and could use some upgrades. Breakfast was on the second floor making more difficult for older people
