Pros: staff is nice, 24hr front desk for late checkins, i checked in after 1am no issues. kids love the bridge, free parking, free breakfast! Japanese look and feel. tv was good had all channels you want on dish, location is good for hollywood not the beach
Cons: parking is very dark at night!! parking spots are way to close! roach in the room 2 times but its la and old and they leave the door open until you checkin. small bathroom. vending machines only take cash. pool closes at 8pm.

Pros: Location.
Cons: The whole place is trash. Gross, smelly, broken and deteriorated. How they got rated 3 star is a mystery.

Pros: I liked the Japanese garden/courtyard in the middle of all the rooms, very pretty. The main lobby area was very nice, with a computer for quests' use. The free breakfast in the mornings was very good.
Cons: I don't like that the very nice baby grand piano in the lobby was not for playing, but for display only! I would have loved to play it!

Tried to check out and entire lobby was locked. People were waiting on every side at every door and no one was inside. Very weird place. I'm at the medical building next door every so often and have seen the hotel and thought it looked interesting, possibly ok to stay at. So I did. Most of the experience was annoying and otherwise average hotel. The best part was it had strong central air and not one of the cheap wall units that don't work well. And that was great considering how hot it's been. It was actually too cold in the room at one point, which was a good thing.
Pros: Best? Strong central air conditioning
Cons: Male behind the counter was incompetent. I only have cash due to identity theft, and they wanted $100 deposit on the room, and refused to take cash, only credit. I don't see the difference. All the bridges were taped off so had to walk around every time.
