AAA Editor Notes
Jack London Square is bounded by Embarcadero W., Clay St., Harrison St. and the Oakland estuary. A statue of London, who once worked at the port's docks, stands on the wharf. Heinold's First and Last Chance Saloon, built in 1880 and one of the author's favorite haunts, is at the foot of Webster Street. Fresh produce, flowers and baked goods are sold at the Jack London Square Farmers Market, held Sundays 10-3.
