High Camp, at the upper terminus of the Squaw Valley Tram, boasts panoramic views of Lake Tahoe and the High Sierra and is where many beginner runs start. After riding the tram up the mountain to an elevation of 8,200 feet, visitors can take advantage of several recreational options, including swimming and roller skating. In addition, the Olympic Museum features memorabilia from the 1960 Winter Olympics.

Tram (includes Olympic Exhibition) $39; $25 (ages 13-22 and 65+); $10 (ages 5-12); free (ages 0-4 and active duty military with ID). There are additional fees for swimming and roller skating. An all-access pass and combination tickets also are available; phone ahead for prices and age restrictions.
