Hilbert Museum of California Art is at 167 N. Atchison St. on the Chapman University campus. This 2016 addition to the college displays California scene paitings done between the 1930s and 1970s that showcase numerous aspects of everyday life. The permanent collection numbers over 1,000 pieces, but not all are displayed at once. Temporary exhibits also are offered throughout the year.
