Palm Springs Air Museum is off SR 111 at 745 N. Gene Autry Tr. on the e. side of the Palm Springs Airport. This museum showcases more than 28 World War II and Korean- and Vietnam-era planes, most in flyable condition, including a B-17 “Flying Fortress.” Exhibits in the Pacific, European and B-17 Hangars chronicle World War II history. Educational programs are presented throughout the year. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
$16; $14 (ages 13-17, ages 65+ and retired military with ID); $9 (ages 6-12); free (active military with ID); $35 (family, up to two adults and three children ages 6-12).
Hours: Daily 10-5. Closed second Friday in February, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
