Palm Springs Air Museum is off SR 111 at 745 N. Gene Autry Tr. on the e. side of the Palm Springs Airport. This museum showcases more than 40 World War II and Korean- and Vietnam-era planes, most in flyable condition, including a B-17 “Flying Fortress.” Exhibits in the Pacific, European and B-17 Hangars chronicle World War II history. The Major General Mile Hangar chronicles the Korea and Vietnam wars. Educational programs are presented throughout the year.
