Norton Simon Museum, 411 W. Colorado Blvd. at Orange Grove Blvd. (jct. Foothill/I-210 Frwy. and Ventura/SR 134 Frwy.), exhibits art from the early Renaissance through the 20th century, including paintings by Edgar Degas, Claude Monet, Rembrandt, Pierre Auguste Renoir and Vincent van Gogh, and Southeast Asian and East Indian sculpture. Flash cameras are not permitted. Guided tours are available. Food is available.
$12; $9 (ages 62+); free (ages 0-18 and students and active military with ID). Audio tour $3.
Hours: Mon. and Wed.-Thurs. noon-5, Fri.-Sat. 11-8, Sun. 11-5. Closed Rose Parade Day (Jan. 1 or Jan. 2), Thanksgiving and Christmas.
