Pros: Breakfast buffet was lovely, albeit very expensive, the facilities and spa treatments were good, as was the tennis instruction and the pool.
Cons: This is a hotel of the rich and famous, lots of luxury cars and the staff seemed to be instructed to be permanently perky, which for an ordinary traveler can be off putting. We had a waitress we really liked and came back for dinner the next night asking for her as a server and except for a brief hello, she completely ignored us in order to fawn over a table nearby who had ordered a $1500 bottle of wine. Clearly this is a place where those who spend more will be the most favored and that is, to us, who are discerning, seasoned travelers, quite intolerable. Food was also overly ambitious and combinations were at times strained and did not go well together.

Pros: Beautiful, elegant resort with very comfy bungalows. Fantastic beauty all around. Nice turndown service and complimentary drinks and snacks were appreciated by our kids.
Cons: Though we had been told an early check-in would be possible, our bungalow wasn't ready until about 40 mins after the regular 4pm check in time, and we had to wait in the cold outdoor lobby... Not a great first impression.

Pros: Every staff member from house cleaning to management treated me well and ALL seemed knowledgeable about every single question I asked them. Most called me by my name and always asked if they could do anything else for me.
