AAA Editor Notes
U.S. Naval Museum of Armament and Technology is at 130 E. Flores Ave. Indoor and outdoor exhibits tell the story of China Lake’s contribution to our nation’s defense since it was established in 1943. With weapon artifacts and videos, the museum examines the history of air-, surface- and submarine-launched weaponry research and development. The grounds include such air weapons as the Sidewinder and Polaris missiles.
Note: The museum will be in a temporary building with limited exhibits through 2018 while a new building is constructed.
