Exotic Feline Breeding Compound's Feline Conservation Center is 3.5 mi. w. of SR 14 on Rosamond Blvd., .75 mi. n. on Mojave-Tropico Rd., then .25 mi. w. on Rhyolite Ave. The compound is a breeding, research and educational conservation facility with more than 70 rare and endangered exotic cats in outdoor enclosures. Seventeen species, including leopards, cougars and fishing cats, are represented. Docents provide detailed information about these fascinating felines.
