+Excellent neighborhood; safe, well-lit, easy to find; restaurant, gas station with mini-mart within walking distance
+Room doors are on interior halls; front desk manned 24 hours
+My room (a double queen) was roomy and clean, and very well maintained (paint, carpet, bathroom fixtures, tile and grout, etc)
+All of the amenities were there and in working order: tv, channel changer, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron and board, mini-fridge, soap, shampoo and plenty of nice clean towels. Nice clean shower curtain (it looked brand-new).
+Standard hotel breakfast buffet with lots of choices. Clean and well stocked.
+Ice machines on each floor; nice little store in the lobby for snacks, drinks and forgotten travel items. Reasonably well-stocked.
+oh yes...FREE COFFEE, TEA, HOT WATER, etc. available 24 hours in the lobby. THIS IS HUGE.
-This is so picky...the nightstand and reading light were only on one side of the bed. This is a "lodging pet peeve" of mine, and Fairfield Inn has plenty of company in this category.
-No plug ins for electronic devices next to the bed. I had to plug them in across the room. (I like to have my phone next to my bed to access my own alarm, messages, reminders, reading material, etc.) Again, Fairfield Inn has plenty of company in this category, and I expect it will begin to change soon. A bedside lamp with a plug-in on the base would do the trick.
