Pros: Very comfortable bed, spacious room. Nice location to have a break on the road from Los Angeles to San Francisco across Big Sur. Great restaurants in nearby Monterey.
Cons: Staff just did their work, poor breakfast, overpriced.

Pros: Good location and friendly staff
Cons: We made a mistake in booking for 3 nights as a base to explore Monterey and Carmel. It was too far away and a motel is not the same as a hotel for spending time other than to sleep. The swimming pool is in the middle of the car park which we were not expecting. That said, it is fine for a one night stay as you pass through the area

Pros: Comfy bed, clean room and bathroom.
Cons: Kettle in room and that thing which you continental breakfast... I'm from Europe and trust me I've had a way better breakfast in the worst and cheapest hostels in Europe. Of all you have the only natural thing was Banana and tea. Bread was awful, jelly too, Philadelphia thing is not a cheese. Really, really bad (and I know that's it's American motel/hotel standard but it's bad)
