Mission Trails Regional Park is 12 mi. n.e. at One Father Junípero Serra Tr. Comprised of hills, valleys and open areas, the park is the site of the Old Mission Dam and Lake Murray Reservoir. Recreational activities include fishing, boating, rock climbing, hiking, biking, horseback riding and camping. The Visitor & Interpretive Center is an imaginatively designed and spacious center with displays, videos and hands-on activities that introduce the natural history, plants and wildlife of the park's 7,200 acres. Free maps of the more than 60 miles of trails are available.
Pets must be kept on a leash less than 8 feet long.
Guided tours are available. Pets on leash are allowed. Recreational activities are permitted. Camping is permitted. Picnicking is permitted.
