Robinson-Rose Building, in Old Town San Diego State Historic Park at 4002 Wallace St., is a two-story wood building with adobe walls built in 1853 by a successful attorney. Today it houses the park's headquarters and has photo murals and a carefully crafted scale model of Old Town as it appeared until 1872. Guided tours are available.

Hours: Daily 10-5. Guided walking tours depart daily at 11 and 2. Closed Jan. 1, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
