Pros: The hotel is in a great location, the staff were very nice, rooms were clean and the bed was super comfy!
Cons: We were on the 4th floor room 434, the nigh club across the street didn't stop BOOMING until 2AM. We heard street noises all night. The Bellhop said those rooms on that wing of the 4th floor are bad. They should warn you about the noise!!!

Pros: Location and friendliness of staff. Great bartender. Good vibe to the hotel and staff morale seemed better than that of many other boutique hotels.
Cons: Soap (too dry) and height of shower head (too low). Carpeting in room looked very old / dirty, but tough to tell true cleanliness due to its dark green color - - it may have been clean as can be.

Pros: It was conveniently located near the convention center and the Gaslamp district.
Cons: The hotel is kind of weird. It had strange decor in the elevators and room. The room's balcony door had unsealed gaps so the noise from outside came right in. Despite cleaning the room, the cleaning staff forgot to make up the bed.

Pros: Location is awesome. Food was great. Fireplace is room.
Cons: Age, I understand it was an old hotel and has some nostalgia but it really needs some updates. TV signal and channels were awful. Bathroom was awful. Very few power outlets. Parking cost 1/3 of what I paid for the room.
