Pros: Housekeeping servicing room & changing sheets everyday was nice, I know most places don't change them unless you're staying more then a week, Breakfast being served every morning was good, The staff was super friendly. I liked the layout of the room & having a separate living area from the bedroom is great & the fact that there's 2 TVs is awesome when it's more than 1 person. Overall I liked staying here & would stay again.
Cons: Breakfast served at 6am is too early for some of us that wake up a couple of hrs later. The laundry facility is too small & there is no where to sit while you wait in there. Maybe adding a laundry basket to room would be nice. The elevator is sooo slow it's ridiculous & the elevator permit has been expired since last yr. Whoever is maintenance in the night needs a drug test. He smelled of weed & alcohol.

Pros: The suite with the bunk beds was wonderful. My 10 year old daughter loved it and we were also on the ground floor close to the pool. My older (age 13) daughter was in Rady Children's Hospital during and after a MAJOR spine surgery, so we were going back and forth from the hotel to the hospital. We decided to stay another night at the last minute after her discharge so we could drive back home in the morning when it was cool. They were very accommodating about extending our stay. The lower bunk worked okay but if I were in the same situation again, I would find a place with handicap/disability rooms. Live and learn I guess. The room layout was wonderful in that my youngest could have her own space and TV.
Cons: Front desk clerk David needs a different job. He obviously does not like the one he has and is very rude and unhelpful. The other staff made up for it though. I feel sorry for them in that they had to compensate for his attitude. We asked where the guest laundry was and he told us, but not that we had to get change and soap at the front desk. We had to go back and forth several times just to get all the stuff to do laundry. At that point, we were exhausted and had spent three days at the hospital. It was frustrating to say the least. An elderly lady was also talking to him at the front desk when I was there and he had evidently dropped a very important anniversary cake. She was crying and wanted the motel to replace the expensive cake. He gave them $12 off the total bill which for them, was one day of parking. Another front desk clerk was very nice when we checked in and waived our parking fees for the entire time when she heard we were there for my daughter's surgery and week-long hospital stay. David obviously needs an update from his coworkers about hospitality. It's not the cleanest place either, but nothing I would complain about to management. The mirrors need cleaning and the carpets are filthy. The carpets especially could use a good shampooing. If I had toddlers or an infant, I would not stay there at all. I would never let a crawling baby on the floor of the room because of the filthy carpets. If you have to stay for more than a few days, I would go elsewhere.
