Lands End Lookout

Lands End Lookout is at Merrie Way and Point Lobos Ave., just e. of the Cliff House. Part of an ongoing project to restore the habitat at Lands End and improve visitor amenities, it has exhibits about the history and natural features of San Francisco's northwestern corner and information about Golden Gate National Recreation Area, as well as lots of handsome coffee table books and gift items for sale. The small building also incorporates a number of “green” features.
