Pros: It is in a fairly good location close to the center of main attractions and restaurants in San Francisco.
Cons: Rooms, hallways, elevators are a bit dated and could use refreshing. Entry into the forecourt with a taxi or car requires going around the hotel fully in order to enter from the one-way streets.

Pros: Checking out. An added feature is that you can hear your neighbors in the room above you and next door. Nice touch.
Cons: Rooms are small and dark. If you wish to read in bed,you better pack an extra lamp in your suitcase. You cannot move the lights near the bed. The room is poorly designed. The TV is on the right side of the bed because the room is tiny. Odd room.

Pros: The staff was very nice. They were friendly without being too "in your face."
Cons: Well, everything in SFO is expensive, but the bar was expensive here. It was nice, but kind of expensive. I wouldn't mind if the drinks weren't a little bigger. But, again, this is kind of the whole area there.
