Pros: Location is great for being in town, valet parking makes it very easy. It's not a cheap hotel, but based on SF prices is offering quality for the price. Balcony overlooking the bay was great.

Pros:
Cons: The room next door was inhabited by a loud and rowdy party which made a ridiculous amount of thumping, yelling, banging loud noises for hours. They were running up and down the hallways before settling in the room next to mine for their party. It took a call to hotel security to quiet them. Then Housekeeping was banging on the door a few hours later to clean my room - even though I was scheduled to check out. No sleeping at this place!

Pros: The location of this hotel was convenient - near Embarcardero and the Exploratorium and Piers, but a long walk 30 mins to Fishermans Wharf.
Cons: But I must say ALL accom in San Fran is really expensive. You don't get much for $300 a night. The staff are not really interested in helping much. It was very hot during our visit, there is no pool which we knew about, but still it provided little to do on a hot day for young kids after walking their legs off. I really dislike hotels that have no laundry facilities. No family wants to send a week of laundry thru housekeeping - big bucks! The beds were tiny doubles. Rooms had space for bigger, I'm not sure why they bother with small beds - does anyone like them?

Pros: The friendly staff. It was our 26th wedding anniversary and I made reservations last minute. Ted at the front desk upgraded our room to a balcony and gave us a $50 certificate to use at the Market. The room was wonderful
