AAA Inspector Notes
This restaurant is one of the very few restaurants specializing in Goan cuisine from southern India. Goa, with its palm trees and white sand beaches, is to Indians what Hawaii is to Americans. This state was under Portuguese control for 450 years until it was annexed in 1961 by India. Flavorful dishes feature Indian foods with strong Portuguese influences as well as use of local ingredients including coconut. Representative dishes are ricardo pomfret fish, chicken cafreal, beef asado, xacutis and vindaloo.
