AAA Editor Notes

Mystery Spot is 2.5 mi. n. on Market St. (which becomes Branciforte Dr.) to the jct. with Mystery Spot Rd., then n. to 465 Mystery Spot Rd. Sir Isaac Newton's law of universal gravitation seemingly does not apply to this circular area of redwood forest approximately 150 feet in diameter, where visitors will experience puzzling variations in perspective. Theories run the gamut from a hole in the ozone layer to an underground guidance system for alien spacecraft, but the reason remains a mystery. There's nothing mysterious, however, about the scenic hiking trail that winds through the redwoods.
