AAA Inspector Notes
This boutique hotel is reminiscent of an upscale beautiful decorated beach house. Rooms have balconies or patios, some with ocean views. Enjoy pool side cocktails or relax by the warm fireplace.
Smoke free premises. 70 units, some kitchens. 3 stories, exterior corridors.
great hotel, nice staff, make sure you know what room you get. lots of extra charges e.g taxes, valet parking.
Cons: we got the worst room, lots of extra $$ spent on taxes, valte parkind misc.
Overall it is a nice hotel, but I do not feel it is worth the price nor is it truly a 4 star hotel. I have stayed at nicer 3 1/2 star hotels. I do not believe their amenities justify the price or the star rating.
Pros: The room was a decent size and the bed was very comfortable. Overall I liked the decor of the room, but felt it could have used a little more furniture to allow you to sit and relax somewhere other than the bed.
Cons: Extra costs. Parking was $40 per night which is more than any other hotel in the area from what we could find. We were charged $10 for a bottle of still water at dinner when we just asked for "water".
Pros: Location. Make sure to ask about complimentary yoga on beach and hikes through hills
Pros: Beautiful big rooms, great staff, laid back vibe
Cons: A little removed from the action, our room had no view whatsoever
