Pros: The location is right in the middle of town and near the freeway. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious. The outdoor courtyard is perfect for enjoying a glass of wine or beer by the fire lot in the evening or a morning coffee.
Cons: The room smelled slightly of cigarette smoke from people smoking in the adjacent courtyard.

Very Poor

Pros: Zero
Cons: Some jerk who i have a restraining order on (Rico valledor) called the front desk and lied, saying I trashed the room etc. Even though I warned the night manager the day Mgr showed up pounding on door demanding entrance. Unprofessional and rude!

Overall a good stay. We were on a road trip and was happy on the whole with our experience. However I would not go OUT OF MY WAY to stay here... Just a plain-jane hotel.
Pros: Very unique common area with a large fire pit. Really great to be able to hang and enjoy a cocktail
Cons: Weird area. Went for a run, and was in downtown Santa Rosa... and then was out of it and in a (what appeared to be) dangerous area. Vagrants, homeless, scummy, low-income housing, etc.... Not the area you'd expect a 3.5 star + hotel to be located.
