Pros: We love the location, value and access to all we need in the South Lake Tahoe area
Cons: We noted that the room did not receive a daily top off of bed dressing, and towels. It did not wreck our stay at all, just seemed a tiny bit odd. The serving staff at the restaurant were not exactly timely with all patrons, namely us, but were happy to chat with others more than they should have while we waited for initial drink request from wait service.

Pros: Not much...
Cons: Ultimately the value for this property was just terrible. I just walked away feeling so completely ripped off. First, our "lake view" was a "glimpse of the lake through a courtyard, a parking lot, and a building." But, that's better than the alternative, which is a parking lot view. Second, the walls are SO THIN. We were on the second floor and our above neighbors work up at 6 am every morning an banged around till 9 am. We could hear every step. So, if you're not on the 3rd floor, you're waking up when your above neighbors wake up. Third, the room is teeny, tiny, and very dated. Because of the cute decor, the photos make it look newer. Not true. So dated. Bathroom is microscopic, and the shower is a cave. Fourth, while this is not the fault of the hotel, we were really disappointed by the general layout of the hotel because due to the people staying there, you can't really keep you patio door open. The buildings are like horseshoes, with all of the rooms facing into themselves. We were so happy to be on the lake (but see point no. 1), and like to have some fresh air, so we slept with our patio door cracked. Well, everyone around us went out onto their patio late at night, early morning, mid morning, etc. to smoke. So, while the rooms are non-smoking, your neighbors will likely be blowing their smoke onto your patio.

Pros: Great location for pets: Beach at your doorstep, grass with poo bag holders, and bins. Safeway across the street, restaurants a few steps away.
Cons: Room and bathroom size a bit small, only shower, no tub. Hotel offers weddings - it can be loud with people enjoying their wedding.
