Traveling as Couple
Cons: hotel caters to foreigners. not enough parking
Pros: Great suite and accompdating staff
Family with Young Children
Pros: It is reasonably priced compared to outrageous Millbrae prices. In Millbrae there are motels with more rooms than parking spaces so when coming back to motel at night there is no place to park but these motels still charge exorbitant prices.
Cons: Not really. We will book again.
Pet Owners be Aware!
Pros: The Larkspur is a nice hotel located in a quiet neighborhood with easy access. The rooms were spacious and clean.
Cons: We were not provided with the bill at the time of checkout, and it was only after an email reminder that we were sent an invoice. We were unpleasantly surprised by the pet charge- $75 (for a better perspective, the room for 2 was $120). The hotel website claimed it was pet-friendly but a price was not provided for those that would opt to visit with a pet. Our assumption was for $15-$30, based on what other hotels charge. I sent an email message for an explanation about the charge, to no avail.
Pet charges have to be provided upfront so guests can make an educated choice; had we known about the size of the pet charge, we would have chosen a different accommodation.
Pros: I enjoyed the pleasurable staff that was extremely attentive
Cons: There was only one chair at the table
Unforgettable Experience !
Pros: Enjoyed amenities and complimentary breakfast.
Cons: The room was beautiful and appeared to be clean unfortunately the bed sheets/comforter had small blood stains on them I did request kindly for them to be changed and they were but they were changed with only the sheets and not the comforter that comes with the hotel sheets so I was a little cold. As my fiancé and I were cleaning before we booked out to ensure we did not leave anything behind my fiancé found that there was dirty panties and socks under the bed.Front desk was friendly however when I informed them of the incident I did not receive any small form of compensation or apology. A little disappointed because this was a very special occasion for me and my fiancé being that it was his Birthday.
Pros: Very clean and staff were very helpful
Staff was very attentive and...
Pros: The room was cozy and clean, good location -- a convenient walk to San Francisco airport about 15mins
One Night Only
Pros: Location great to SFO.
Cons: Bathtub did not drain/poor plumbing, air conditioner rattled loundly,
family with older children
Quite but tired
Pros: Nice location and staff very pleasant.
Cons: Place is very tired looking--mattresses lumpy, counters/soap dishes chipped, face plates broken or fallen off, etc. Also, light fixtures buzz and I never could figure out how to get some of the lights to work (really-tried all sorts if switch configurations).
comfy for the night
Pros: the staff was great. All were very friendly!
Cons: No pool. No view, almost industrial. The closest store was 20 minutes away...
If Breakfast is important to...
Pros: The room was nice and the size was Great.
Cons: The Breakfast at the hotel wasn't worth the money I paid for the room. I won't ever stay with this chain again because of this! Also there wasn't a pool for the amount I paid! I will definitely go back to Embassy suites as our first choice for the money I Paid.
