Pros: The room , the facilities nd your staff were lovely
Cons: You unfortunately did not do at all well with my request that I am allergic to chlorine We called this in the first night at your resort when I was having difficulties from the cleaning agent fumes The next day , when we returned looking forward to a pool hour We were greeted by your cleaner covering our room in chlorox I could not go in the room Joe , one of your staff was helpful and found us another room But the move was difficult It ruined our night We did have a nice hour the next day by the pool. No washroom close by thou It's unfortunate that in such a wholesome area you would use such harsh chemicals for cleaning Perhaps it's time to revue your standards in this ..... Almost all high end resorts such as yours which we have stayed at have used hypoallergenic cleaners I sincerely hope this helps future guests Regards Regina Armstrong

Pros: Location is phenomenally convenient to the Napa wine scene. Grounds of the hotel are very pleasing, and keep sections isolated from other sections (helping privacy and feeling of getting away). Some rooms back up to a vineyard, and that adds to the Wine Country charm. The photos of the grounds are not deceptive; there are quite attractive views and lush gardens.
Cons: They gave away or overbooked our room reservation, and left us disappointed with the downgrade. The notice on the morning of the visit came too late for us to make alternate plans. The offer to reduce the price didn't come close to making it up to us. When I asked for other consideration (champagne and dessert), they were agreeable, but didn't come through strongly: warm champagne bottle handed to me at the door...late. My advice: don't ask for anything outside the ordinary...they don't execute as you would expect for a top-price wine country resort. The furnishings and style of the Vineyard Suite are fine, though not plush. No reason to complain, but recognize that this resort demands top dollar. You are paying for location rather than the amenities.
