Watson Cabin Museum is at 560 N. Lake Blvd. (SR 28), just e. of jct. SR 89. Situated on a small bluff above the Commons Beach area of Lake Tahoe, the Watson Cabin stands on the original site where Tahoe pioneer Robert Watson built it in 1909 as a wedding gift for his son. It also was the first log cabin in Tahoe City to have indoor plumbing. The museum features artifacts from the early 20th century as well as displays about the history of Lake Tahoe and the Watson family.

The second floor is not open to visitors.

Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
