This is a beautiful resort only about 2 years old. It does live to the standard of a Ritz hotel. However it was a bit of a turn off to get to a 5 star hotel and find fee after fee on top of the posted price. Valet parking $35, Resort fee $25 per day, pet fee $125. I spent as much in fees as the room.
Pros: the sommelier guided us to a great new taste
Cons: while pet friendly, there was a $125 non refundable pet fee.

We enjoyed our stay.
Pros: Excellent staff and cleanliness.
Cons: Having to purchase every little thing and the television programming was lacking and expensive.

Disappointing

Room and food were not impressive. Prices (very high) dictate a 5 star experience but the food was not exceptional. Noise between rooms was very bad - could hear every word that our neighbor was saying.
Pros: The bathroom - nice soaking tub.
Cons: The valet service was obnoxious. They repeatedly ask "are you sure you don't need directions" if you don't tip enough. This is on top of the ridiculous MANDATORY overnight valet fee.
