Pros: Great bed and pillows. Lady at check in on morning day duty on Saturday, Sept 17, was especially lovely.
Right next to a park. Even though next to the freeway, noise wasn't an issue.
Cons: Bathroom tiles were broken and loose by the door in room 129.
During breakfast I went in the kitchen to ask if there were more omelets. The girl was on her phone and said they would be out in a minute. She did come out a moment later but they were a little cold. Obviously they had been sitting out for a bit. No biggie. Don't want her to get in trouble over something this small. A few more menu selections would be nice, along with the food being hotter.

Pros: Loved the view from our room. As I recall, the beds were comfortable. I appreciated that the clothes hangers could be removed from the holder in order to put clothes on them more easily. There was a gas station nearby which was helpful as well as a convenience store with some unexpected food offerings in that a few were a bit healthier than many others.
Cons: Thought it was odd there was no fan in the bathroom. The refrigerator didn't work all that well. The sound of traffic when window was opened was quite noticeable. The young woman who checked us in could have shown a better way of handling a first-time guest who forgot a driver's license was required even though she wasn't the one driving. Her attitude was not appreciated.

Pros: Easy to find at major highway intersection. Nice enough facility. with free parking. A bit dated, but seemed clean. Good breakfast, nice people, although seemed short-staffed some times and ran out of food one day.
Cons: Location, although very convenient, was very noisy with highway traffic. No lobby sitting area. No outside sitting area to enjoy the lovely nature next to the property. Although supposedly, pool was heated, was too cold to swim in. No food, restaurants, drink, stores or anything within walking distance. Cute town of Truckee, was 10 min drive away.

Pros: I like that it's familiar and convenient and that I was able to get a room. I liked that in general it was clean and I liked using my fridge. I like it is close to the park and town
Cons: The toilet seat was not properly attached to the floor. The tiles in the bathroom were cracked. I think the hotel could use more shepherding of it's maintenance. The breakfast is horrible. It seems to just be getting worse and there is not reason.

Cons: The air conditioner in the room was very loud so we didn't run it leaving to room uncomfortable over night. Temperature was in the high 90s, so it was really warm in the evening.

Lovely room lamps with 5 watt bulbs...could NOT see to read.

Cons: Furniture was a little worn, finish on desktop was worn through to bare wood. Toilet was not water efficient, long flush cycle (I'm a plumber), considering California is in a drought. Lots of elevator traffic during the day and night.

Pros: It was abut 20 min to Sugarbowl and close to rt 80.
Cons: The only available place to stay so didn't have much choice, the price to stay I could stay at a 5 star resort in Miami for what it cost to stay here at a basic motel.it was fairly clean and the breakfast is mediocre. the place needs to be updated,
, I booked a singe king but asked to switch to a double they said no problem it would be $100 more for the week but would have to wait till the next day to change rooms no big deal, the next morn I went to switch rooms they said to come back at the end of the day to get the key, when I arrived back I was toold the person I spoke to made a mistake and that it would be $200. Extra per night. I obviously stayed in the single bed.

Cons: Airconditioning in our room at 58 degrees was too noisy and disturbed our sleep (however on previous stay we did not have this problem so must be only some of the air-conditioners are noisy).
Breakfast is very poor quality considering hotel. We skipped it this time after last stay and ate at ski resort instead. Should be warm and fresh, but it is cold (even though sitting on warmers) and all very processed. What about a fresh banana, big tray of warm scrambled egg, big pot of oatmeal? Some healthy but simple options. Breakfast lady should be given more training on how to get a really good breakfast with her equipment and how to proactively interact with guests. No reason why it cannot be simple but fresh and good. Only need to change a little to achieve this. She needs to be much more proactive. Hotel should train her. Look at the Marriott free breakfast in Roseville. (Same type of service but vast difference).

Cons: Beds were not very comfortable, and pillows were thin and very lumpy. Chairs in breakfast area needed cleaning. Front desk was out of discount lift tickets. I would bring my own pillow next time.

2) The heater in the room would blow very cold air until it finally warmed up. It was below freezing outside so a better heating system is needed.
