Grace Hudson Museum and Sun House, 431 S. Main St., is a complex that includes a historic house, a park and a museum of art, history and anthropology. The museum displays works by noted painter Grace Carpenter Hudson, who chose Pomo Indians as her subjects; a collection of Pomo Indian basketry; family artifacts and historical photographs; and varied rotating exhibitions. Sun House was the home of the artist, who lived there for 25 years before her death in 1937.
