Pros: The front desk/concierge were all very helpful. Polite and professional. they were eager to take care of even the smallest need you might have during our stay.
Cons: There was a lot going on at the hotel during our stay. But this is to be expected at large resort style hotels. There was a large wedding out by the waterfall. There was an event for the "Girl Scouts" and all that was fine. But there as also a "promotion" thru the "travel zoo" which is a "group-on" style promotion. It drew a different class of guest that was not the norm for a high end 5 star establishment. The result was too many people who are loud and insensitive to others. The Four Seasons Westlake Village is famous for their spa and Longevity Institute. This spa is the largest and most elaborate spa facility in the ENTIRE Four Seasons universe, worldwide. The hotel is fashioned with a Chinese/Thai touch in regards to the decor and the grounds outside have a beautiful pagoda and greenhouse with lawn chairs for relaxing. Unfortunately their were too many people coming out back to violate the "no smoking" rule for the pool and outside lounging area! The "Travel Zoo" crowd did not fit in with the elegant, sophisticated environment. Also the spa doesn't have enough security to prevent outsiders from gaining unauthorized access.

Pros: The staff was very helpful. They recommended restaurants, local hikes, shopping and helped with directions. The room was spacious and elegant. Probably because we did not book through them, we did get a room that looked over the front entrance. A room on the back of the hotel would look over the grounds and the rolling hills. I would request that if you would like a better view.
Cons: Spa was only for 18 and up and my very mature 14-year old daughter and I were traveling together. Very disappointed that we could not use the spa services. They should make that decision on a case-by-case basis.

Pros: Comfort of rooms, decor, housekeeping all excellent. Enjoyed our stay and all the extra amenities - very kid friendly for our granddaughters to sleep over. Loved indoor pool, kids room, extra chocolate lollipops and champagne at front desk, complimentary cake treats sent to room, robes/slippers for children, and gifts of stuffed Bunny for them. Every possible courtesy was extended. Treats like strawberry blueberry smoothie samples in kids playroom and cocoa bits at the pool were welcome surprises. We will be going back!
Cons: Pillows could be better. Double beds, NOT Queen, were not that comfortable. Onyx restaurant, while good, was overrated and expensive.

Pros: Location
Cons: Resturant expensive
young couple
Pros: Very luxurious and comfortsble
Cons: Breakfast took quite a while to cook and wasn't very hot, how long does it take to cook two poached eggs and a slice of toast which was really expensive. Also I would have thought a spoon to stir your coffee instead of a wood stirrer
