Los Angeles County Sheriffs' Museum is on the STARS Center training facility at 11515 Colima Rd. at jct. of Telegraph Rd. Exhibits include depictions of the history of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and the early history of Los Angeles. Highlights include a 1938 Studebaker Command car, a Hughes 300 patrol helicopter and a cutaway of a Sikorsky rescue helicopter with a video of a search and rescue mission. Other exhibits honor the deputies who have risked their lives to save others from distress and danger.
