AAA Editor Notes
Yosemite Falls is .5 mi. e. of Yosemite Village, accessed via Yosemite Valley hiking trails. Towering at 2,425 feet, the highest North American waterfall is actually made up of three separate falls: Upper Yosemite Fall, the middle cascades and Lower Yosemite Fall. Starting at the Lower Yosemite Fall shuttle bus stop, a .25-mile paved trail leads to the bottom of the lower fall. A strenuous 3.6-mile hike to the top of the upper fall typically takes about 3-4 hours one way.

Note: Hiking to the top of the upper fall requires full mobility.
