Stunning location with breathtaking views...
Pros: The location is excellent! The views are breathtaking and very conveniently located to access the local attractions and amenities. The room (4229) was beautiful with lots of character and charm in keeping with the environment and very clean!
Cons: Our arrival experience was very disappointing! The computers had gone down just as we arrived so we weren't able to check into our room! We were advised to eat at the mountain view restaurant! It was absolutely freezing in the restaurant and the food was terrible (chicken Caesar salad) the chicken was cold and dried up with no dressing on the salad. Overall, I was very disappointed with the food courts at this hotel, the food was average, over priced and service was slow!
Pros: Wilderness experience, majestic scenery.
Autumn in Yosemite
Pros: It's so beautiful, and the staff were friendly. Food court is a very helpful to have nearby!
There are fewer people in October, and that makes it easier to enjoy it.
Cons: checking out at the front desk could be done simpler with a quick check out if a bill was slipped under the door, and there was no question about it - guest could just drop off the keys or get charged for them - there are probably a few problems with that suggestion - just an idea!
Pros: Excellent location in the valley
Cons: Food court - cafeteria reminded us of school dinners.
Only two hotels in valley, so high prices for accommodation.
