Pros: Location was perfect for shopping, restaurants and night life. Streets are safe to walk in the evening. Friendly staff. Super clean. I would stay again but book through the hotel and not online.
Cons: When I arrived it took 20 minutes to check in. I requested a room away from the street with 2 beds online thru a booking company. When I got to the hotel the clerk told me I booked 1 bed and they only had a room on the street side. Eventually they gave us a room with 2 beds away from the street, only because I had a printout of the booking showing 2 beds away from the street. The beds and pillows were a little harder then what I'm used to.

Pros: It is in the heart of the city so the location is very good. The rooms are nice. The staff try there best to help you.
Cons: I asked a quiet room bc of the baby. The hotel was almost empty and I booked ahead 2 months and still get a bad room looking to the noisy street so you had no natural light in the room bc can't open the wooden doors on the windows.

Pros: Great location near the center, yet away from the hustle and bustle (if you are in one of the rear rooms). The main areas of the hotel are beautifully decorated in terms of furnishings and local artesanía. Apart from the nasty girl in reception, the rest of the staff were lovely and accommodating. Overall, we would return to the hotel, but they need to be more careful with some of the details as mentioned which makes the difference between a good stay and a great stay.
Cons: There was a very nasty girl on reception who should not be in the hospitality business. What was worse was that all the staff of the whole hotel right from the owner to the cleaning staff commented to us how bad she was and how many people had complained about her. I have no idea why she is still employed there - totally ruins the positive vibe of the place. We had issues with the off-site parking - there was a lack of coordination between the hotel and the parking lots, and we were shunted from one car park to another since the first one was full when we got there. Also the hotel covers the cost of the off-site parking, however one day we had to pay up front to get our car out. The hotel did reimburse us, but they need to pay more attention to these details. The rooms are roomy and comfortable with a nice rustic touch, but a bit basic. The vanity unit in the bathroom is so small, there is no room to place your toilet bag on the top. And the fan in the bathroom is horrendously noisy.
