AAA Editor Notes
Four Mile Historic Park, at 715 S. Forest St. in s.e. Denver, is a 12-acre farm and the site of Denver’s oldest standing structure, Four Mile House. Built of hand-hewn pine logs in 1859, the clapboard house reflects the era when it served as a ranch and stage stop along the Cherokee Trail. Barns have been reconstructed to the original design specifications. Quilters, seamstresses and blacksmiths demonstrate their craft on the second Friday of each month.

Gold panning and guided tour of the historic house included with admission.

Guided tours are available.
