The city's oldest bar has been continuously operating since 1873. I can picture Jack Kerouac and Neal Cassady tossing back a few during a grittier time, as they were reported to do. Hidden behind the humble, unidentified facade are delicious burgers. They're really why people seek out this hard-to-find spot. In the summer, I like to chill on the patio. In the winter, the masculine woodwork feels cozy. Either way, the juicy, made-to-order bison, ground beef and vegetarian burgers hit the spot.
