AAA Editor Notes
Baca House, 312 E. Main St., is a restored 1870s territorial-style adobe structure that was first home to Santa Fe Trail entrepreneur John Hough, who then sold the residence to influential pioneer Felipe Baca. Its Hispanic folk art and Victorian furnishings reflect the lifestyle of Dolores and Felipe Baca, who were among the earliest settlers of Trinidad. The two-story home features a widow’s walk and Greek architectural details.
