AAA Editor Notes
Santa Fe Trail Museum, 120 S. Chestnut St., is a one-story adobe building that originally served as living quarters for the Baca family’s domestic workers. It contains exhibits that depict the heydays of the Santa Fe Trail through the railroad and coal mining eras. Historic photographs, commercial goods, family heirlooms and a buckskin coat given to a Trinidad mayor by Kit Carson are among the items presented.

Tickets can be purchased directly at the museum or at the main ticket office at 312 E. Main St.
