Pros: Wonderful staff, generous breakfast, perfect location, beautiful rooms
Cons: Pool area needs some updating

Pros: Breakfast was good, and the proximity to the mountain was alsovery good.
Cons: I didn't like that I was unable to get my money back for theThursday night stay. My flight was cancelled to Aspen and I was unableto get there until Friday afternoon. The Hotel didn't seem to careand I was charged over 600 dollars for a room I didn't even stay in.

Pros: This is our new go-to hotel for spring skiing. Terrific atmosphere and views of Aspen Mountain. Location provides easy access to everything, especially Silver Queen gondola, restaurants and shops. Love the broad array of breakfast options and the comfortable setting to start the day.
Cons: It was unseasonably warm while we were there and the thermostat seemed locked. As a result, room temperature over the nights was too warm. The fitness facility has all the right components but the square footage is too small for a guest population that tends to like to use a fitness room. When four or more people are in the room, using weights, stretching and doing ab work it's a tight fit.

Cons: If you are European you may find this hotel extremely overpriced only to be told 'Well this is Aspen".Americans may disagree as is evident by their reviews which were responsible for us selecting this hotel after extensive research. We found neither quality nor value for money so be warned.Of course the accommodation is not the only reason for taking a ski vacation and there is no doubt that the skiing is excellent. But it is well worth stopping to consider value for money in terms of the hotel which is of course what this review is about. For less than the price of the Limelight (board & breakfast) you can stay half board (breakfast and dinner included) at 5* hotels in similarly exclusive resorts in Europe for example Megeve (Le Fer à Cheval) or Zermatt (Hotel Alex). There you will enjoy sophisticated accommodation, waiter service, fine cutlery, table linen, and a delicious selection of beautifully prepared and presented food plus several separate lounges, log fires, concierge service etc.In terms of value for money there is no comparison between what define as a 4* in Aspen, and a 5* sophisticated hotel in the Swiss, Italian, Austrian or French Alps. But at the Limelight you will enjoy the combination of a Holiday Inn meets the cheapest Club Med - no exaggeration.Bedrooms although large are stuffy - no-one seems to think about opening a window and airing them.If you are partial to pedestrians looking in through the large picture windows or cars being parked directly outside then make sure you book a room on the ground floor. If you enjoy disturbances then take a bedroom with an ice maker outside, near the elevators or adjacent to the fitness centre. And do enjoy the fact that since there is nowhere for children to play they will be gleefully running up and down the corridors.

Pros: Staff was great, location was excellent, and the town was lovely
Cons: It was very expensive - consistent with the area, but nevertheless quite pricey
