High Drive

High Drive begins at the end of N. Cheyenne Cañon Rd. The one-way dirt route ascends a steep mountain for 1 mile, then descends 2.4 miles, eventually intersecting with Gold Camp Road. Maps and information about the drive are available at the Starsmore Discovery Center at the base of N. Cheyenne Canon Road.

Note: The route has no guardrails, and drivers should expect hairpin turns and loose gravel; only experienced mountain drivers should attempt the drive.

Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
