U.S. Olympic Complex, 1750 E. Boulder St., is a 37-acre sports training center for the U.S. Olympic Committee. Nearly 130 athletes representing nine sports live and train at the complex on a full-time basis; thousands train here part-time. The visitor center includes interactive exhibits, video presentations and rotating displays highlighting resident athletes. One-hour guided tours feature an Olympic highlights film and a walking tour that includes the multisport gymnasium, the Olympic-size swimming pool and the indoor shooting center. In-depth VIP, Gold, Silver and Bronze tours also are available.

Hours: Tours are offered every half-hour Mon.-Sat. 9-4:30, Sun. 11-4, June 1-Aug. 15; on the hour Mon.-Sat. 9-4, Sun. 11-4, rest of year. Closed Jan. 1, Easter, July 4, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas. Allow 1 hour, 15 minutes minimum.
