Pros: Nothing, The staff angered me so much the entire experience was tainted.
Cons: They required $250 deposit for one night. I used cash. They stuck it in an envelope and dropped it on a desk. They were upset when I asked for a receipt and told me to trust them. When checking out they didn't offer to give it back. I had to insist.

Great Hotel
Pros: My mother and I stayed at this hotel for over a week. We really liked it; the rooms were spacious, clean, quiet and very comfortable. The staff was very professional and always eager to help in every way. We highly recommend it and will definitely stay at this hotel on our next trip to Colorado Springs.

Pros: Starbucks Verona Coffee! both USA today news paper and the local press plus the WS journal!!! The bed was excellent as was the rest of the furniture.

The confusion of the pre-pay breakfast: I was ill informed of your "tradition" when it came to this, I also felt that the price for what was presented was not in line, If your staff had presented the facts I would have been happier. I was told I had paid for one breakfast (@$9), fine I say. Went for breakfast the next morning figuring that the $9 covered the breakfast. Some one deleted the fact I had pre-paid. I never did understand if the $9 paid carte blanche or just for an entree...signs should be posted "somewhere".
Your facility and most others seem to believe everyone is over 6' tall. The shower head could not be reached by us to turn, so...the water splashed all over the bathing area. A sprayer with a hose would be nice in ALL of your rooms.

Pros: Colorado Springs is a bit of a sprawl so no location is going to be all you could wish for - but this was close to Garden of the Gods, Seven falls and the Cave thing. Hotel was clean and functional.
Cons: The hotel is pretty identikit and soulless. The bar area just makes you want to find somewhere else to be (luckily there's a great bar/restaurant across the car park). It's a drive to get anywhere.

Pros: The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Sleeping area was nice and big, a lot of room to move around. Quiet room.
Cons: Bathroom vanity sink area was way to small. Closet was way to small. All way to crowded in that area. Tissue paper holder broken and was falling out of the wall, several bathroom floor tiles were cracked. No view from the room.

Pros: The staff were very helpful. Nice accommodations, food and options.
Cons: I felt sorry for the woman who staffed the front desk. She was by herself when I arrived at check in (6pm). She had to deal with a needy, paranoid family and the rest of us had to wait until they were satisfied. Cross training the staff could have helped this poor front desk person.

Pros: How clean it was & how comfortable the bed was as I am physically challenged. I could have used a handicapped room but didn't get one. No breakfast for the cost was very disappointing.
