Creede Museum is in the old train depot at 117 Main St. The history of Mineral County is depicted along with the prospectors, miners and entrepreneurs who helped settle the region. Exhibits feature the town’s first hand-drawn fire wagon, a horse-drawn hearse, pioneer artifacts, gambling devices, early newspapers, vintage photographs and other memorabilia. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
$2; $1 (ages 60+); free (ages 0-11); $5 (family).
Hours: Mon.-Sat. 10-4, Sun. 1-4, Memorial Day-Labor Day.
